Conference Award “Marin Barleti”

The UKZ Annual Conference Award “Marin Barleti” is dedicated to distinguished individuals from the academic and scientific community, in recognition of outstanding achievements in scientific research and higher education. This award honors substantial research contributions, the addressing of contemporary issues, the development of new ideas, the promotion of international cooperation, and the advancement of new perspectives in science and education.

Additional selection criteria include demonstrated leadership roles, as well as the actual or potential impact of research on the improvement of higher education at the international level—particularly through the strengthening of collaboration between scholars and higher education institutions across different countries and the Public University “Kadri Zeka”.

Upon the proposal of the Conference Organizing Council and by decision of the Rector of the Public University “Kadri Zeka”, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Artan Dërmaku, the UKZ Annual Conference Award “Marin Barleti” 2025 has been awarded to Prof. Dr. Rifat Škrijelj from the University of Sarajevo, in recognition of his valuable contribution to higher education and scientific research.
